Cropnaut founded
Two people, one idea: that every farmer deserves a tool that does the analysis for them.
Farmers today have access to more data than any generation before them — satellite imagery, weather forecasts, soil measurements, disease risk models. And yet the gap between that data and a confident decision is still enormous. Understanding what it all means, knowing which signals to trust, figuring out what to actually do — that still takes expertise most farmers don't have and can't afford to hire.
Cropnaut was built to close that gap. We combine satellite imagery, in-field sensors, and AI analysis into a single platform that doesn't just show farmers what's happening in their fields — it tells them what to do about it. No agronomy degree required.
We're a two-person team based in Budapest, Hungary, founded in 2026. We have live pilots running on farms in the field, and we're backed by an equity-free grant from the NTP Start Program. We're early, we're building fast, and we're just getting started.

Simon builds everything that makes Cropnaut work — from the platform software and AI integrations to the hardware that goes in the ground. If it runs in the app or sits in a field, he built it.

Cropnaut won 3,000,000 HUF at the NTP Start Program Demo Day, organised by Nemzeti Tehetség Központ and Design Terminal. Months of workshops, mentoring, and late-night product sessions — culminating in a win we're still proud of.
Pitched Cropnaut to a packed room at one of Central Europe's leading tech events. A strong lineup, great energy, and a reminder of why building in public matters.
We're open to partnerships with agricultural consulting firms, co-operatives, and agri-supply retailers. If you think there's a fit, we'd like to hear from you.
